About the Conference

The Conference, at India Electricity, provides a platform to brainstorm on contemporary issues pertaining to the Indian power sector. Under the overall theme : “Future of Indian Power Sector: Managing Challenges of Fuel, Competition and Reforms”, the current event will focus on key areas that need preparations for achieving power sector targets.

The future growth of India’s power sector necessitates measures on some important issues. The immediate concerns are attached to availability, accessibility and affordability of fuel options, growth of healthy competition and adoption of efficient operations across the value chain. Under the proposed theme, the conference will look at building efficiencies by way of market attractiveness, rational pricing, technological advancements, improved systems, management practices, improved governance and better regulatory environment.
